{Monday} Milk Bar Crack Pie -

I'm so excited to share "Milk Bar Monday" treat this week with you . The "Crack Pie" can be considered as the signature dessert Milk Bar (they have a trademark after all) and I see quite why. This pie is amazingly good, and actually pretty easy to do (compared to other recipes in the book at least.) Mine was eaten within 24 hours and everyone who got the taste just loved filling sticky and slightly salty crust.

The oatmeal cookie crust pie that really takes a whole new level. To do this, you are essentially cook a huge flapjack until golden and crisp, then crashing down to the crumbs and mix it with a little melted butter. It is pressed into the pie pan and filled with a cream-like filling that is full of magical ingredients like corn and freeze-dried milk powder. It is difficult to know exactly what role they play in making this so much pie, so I will not try to understand it. All I know is that the filling has a rich flavor, caramel-like which makes it almost impossible to stop eating.
