Hello! Today I am so happy to be the customer display on my friend's blog Delicious Siriously Siri. If you're not familiar, is a funny and talented girl whose site I loved playing for a while. She just had a new baby, she needed a blog-love when she is fit to have two children.

So pop on over Siri site for recipe these easy and delicious Vanilla Wafers home! And- return here Friday for a delicious dessert that uses these delicious cookies. Can you guess what?

DIY Vanilla Wafers
Ingredients
  • 5 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milk (or half and half)
  • 2 cups all purpose
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add egg, vanilla and milk and mix well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Stir well.
  3. Either pick up the dough in a large piping bag (or just a ziploc bag) and press dough rounds. OR- just use a small spoon to 1inch round part on a cookie sheet. Use your fingers to flatten slightly.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the funds start to brown. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool. Serve or store in an airtight container.
