Sweet and Sour Cherry Yogurt Pops are a tangy and refreshing summer treat!
I'm back with the second day of the week "Treating Frozen," a fun summer week tonnes delicious ice recipes a variety of bloggers fabulous. (More exciting gift ... see below !!) I bought a set of fancy popsicle molds for occasionally I want to know a wide variety of frozen treats. They are easy to use and I am so pleased to now have the opportunity to popsicles whenever I want!
I had a liter of sweet and sour cherries greenmarket dying to use, and as it was about 150 degrees outside, some slightly sweet yogurt sounds and tangy also sounded like just the thing. They have little time to do, were frozen in just a few hours- and tasted so so good. If you did not have sour cherries, they are really delicious with tangy with a little pucker- (but not too much!)
- 2 yogurt cups fragrant vanilla
- 2 cups of cherries (a sour combo, or whatever you have.)
- sugar to taste *
- in a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and puree until smooth, with some pieces intact cherry.
- Pour into popsicle mold, add sticks and freeze for 4-5 hours or until solid.
- out of the race molds- under hot water until they come right out.
